Position Summary

Kevitt Companies is seeking a dependable and motivated Parts and Equipment Runner to support daily field and shop operations. This position plays a key role in keeping projects running efficiently by transporting parts, materials, and equipment between job sites, vendors, and company facilities. The ideal candidate is flexible, self-driven, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced construction environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely pick up and deliver parts, tools, materials, and other requested items to job sites, vendors, and company locations
  • Transport small equipment and attachments to support field operations
  • Load and unload equipment and supplies, including from bobcat rigs
  • Assist shop personnel and mechanics with basic tasks as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and yard
  • Wash and maintain equipment to ensure readiness for use
  • Perform water pumping and other general labor tasks as required
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong work ethic with reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • High attention to detail and commitment to completing tasks accurately
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Additional Requirements
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Ability to work 8–10 hour days, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work
  • Flexibility to adjust work hours and travel out of town as needed to support project demands
Physical Demands

This position requires regular physical activity, including lifting, bending, standing, walking, and performing strenuous labor in outdoor and field conditions. Employees must be able to safely handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

Work is performed in both shop and active construction site environments. Employees are frequently exposed to heavy machinery, loud noise, and varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind.
